Shell Spirax S4 CX 10W is a high-performance off-highway hydraulic and transmission oil, specifically designed to offer heavy equipment operators reliable and trouble-free operation. Providing consistent friction performance, the S4 CX is formulated to reduce clutch slippage, provide smooth and quiet oil-immersed braking, and ensure reliable hydraulic and transmission operation. The oil only also contains inhibitors to decrease oxidation rates and minimize deposit formations. In addition, Spirax S4 CX 10W is designed to meet low viscosity and fluidity requirements, providing protection in low operating temperatures.
